We are so excited to introduce you to Melbourne-based international stylist, bespoke shopper and Bird & Knoll's newest stockist, Coco Louise.
Inspired by her mother who was once a stylist herself, fashion resides in the very DNA of Coco Louise. From exquisite handmade ornaments found in the laneways of Lebanon, to runways in Melbourne, Coco’s mixing of Eastern and Western influences lends to a striking cosmopolitan edge in her styling repertoire.
We caught up with Coco for a quick Q&A. Read our interview below...
B&K: What is your favourite destination to escape to and why?
CL: As a daily escape, I need the ocean at sunrise. Going into crystal clear and still water, before I start my day is magic to my soul. However, as a "destination", my escape is my home, Lebanon. Being able to indulge in the beauty and warmth of the people, culture and the romantic atmosphere. My escape is music, historic architecture, sandstone walls, arches and cobblestone grounds that take you to the most magical places.
B&K: What are your top 3 travel essentials?
CL: This is a hard question. But I do always grab my hat, every lipstick colour that I own (that's a lot!) and I always focus on separate pieces that I can mix and match.
B&K: Your favourite piece from the new Bird & Knoll collection? And your favourite way to style it?
CL: Every piece, haha how can you ask a Gemini stylist to select a favourite piece? I am currently finding myself twirling in the Lilac Betina Maxi because I can play with its stunning feminine shape and colour by edging it up on days I want to feel "polished street", and other days I can add a graceful french touch by injecting silk scarves to the look, from my hair to the neck and even around my arm.
B&K: The last thing you’ve listened to?
CL: Amado Mio by Pink Martini takes me to dreamy places.
B&K: What is your favourite local or international hidden gem?
CL: I cant share my hidden gem, that is why it is hidden!
